just bob wrote:Here are 2 from a book called - Collectible Pocket Knives by Dominique Pascal copyrighted in 2001. I doubt either of these will show up on ebay anytime soon. Sorry for the picture quality I scanned them from the book. I love finding these inexpensive knife books at yard sales for a few dollars. This book has over 200 pages and high quality pictures of many knives you've never heard of.
That's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's definitely a unique blade configuration. Pretty cool. ::nod::

Kutmaster made an oyster knife that I don't recall seeing any other company make. Parker made a lot of unique patterns. One I have is a mini bulldog that measures only about 3 1/8" closed.
I do believe that oyster knife is the most unique and coolest knife I've seen. I like it.
Thanks, Colonel26. It's an unusual knife, but unfortunately I think it wasn't made to be a user. :( The blade will cut an oyster out of its shell easy, but the bar to pry the shell open seems too thick imo. I doubt you could ever get it in the tiny gap between the shell halves.

A few "wooden knives" including one from our own Philco(Thanks Phil!)
A selection of Eagle Pencil Co. gravity knives.
A penny knife by A.B.Newman of Austria.
Two views of an Imperial knife disguised as a filter tipped cigarette.
Two views of a multi-tool that has a built in compass/sighting device and a whistle(!)for when you get lost in the woods.
Another penny knife with a figural handle and hatchet stamp.
An Ulster pill knife.
An unmarked 4 blade manicure knife that the blades fold out one at a time and then the case is closed.

You can always rely on Ray to come up with some totally off the wall stuff.

I don't have one of these but it's an auto made by Rat Work that uses 2 wound springs and a chain to open the blade.

There's only one way to describe that knife:
