Post by Gunsil »

Hi all, the annual Wind Gap, PA show is this coming weekend, April 22-23. It will be held as usual at the Plainfield Fire Co. I will have a couple of tables of antique knives for sale, I hope to see some of you there.

Went this morning, just after opening. Met Sauconian there, he had a Wolfertz I discovered I needed, a pruner in nice condition. Also met Bob from Tenn, he brought several tables worth folders and fixed bald knives, we had a nice chat. Found a pre war Robeson that came home with me, a sleeveboard with jigged bone and a gimp shield. Not as many dealers as I was hoping but....

Here are my take-aways from today's Wind Gap show. Top row: Winchester, John Primble Belknap, and Utica. 2nd row: Queen City (script) and Aerial Cutlery Co. The Aerial handle doesn't look like much in the photo but it's actually a five panel picture knife and in great condition.

All are from Rob Roark (AAPK = robinetn) who is certainly a great fellow to do business with. He has a lot of great knives for sale, also some beautiful straight razors. You can also catch him this coming week (April 28-29) at the Mason-Dixon show in Hagerstown, MD.
