I've just been reviewing the pictures, posted by our talented photographers on this thread. WOW! Many years ago I spent a lot of time in my favorite place, the "wild". "There's Been a lot of water Over the Dam" since then". There has been education, a trade, marriage, fatherhood, buying, and maintaining a home, Kids education, etc. Those pictures sure put a lump in my throat, while bringing back memories. " 'Cause I Can't do 'em anymore ". Thanks for sharing.

Sut, sometimes life has a way of chewing us up physically. But thank the Lord for good memories. I know that most of my photo's were made from the car. Thank the Lord for places like this for an outlet to stir those memories. We appreciate you.

"Remember " is used 230 times in the Bible.
That tells me it's a good thing.

Thanks Steve:
Yes, 230 times the bible tells us to remember, but my big concern now is, that not one time, does it tell us what to do when we loose our memory, and can't.

Sure it does! "Trust in the Lord"

Jesus said in John 14:26 New King James Version (NKJV)

26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

I believe He will cause us to remember the things He wants us to.
May He bless you with kany fond memories!!!

John, some of your photos feature nice red knives. This always reminds me of reading how photographers for National Geographic regularly carried several thin red scarfs. When they were photographing anywhere in the word, especially crowd scenes, they would ask someone wear the red scarf simply to add color to the scene. Then too in the black and white film Schindler's List there was just one element filmed in color: the red coat worn by a little girl soon to be taken by the Nazis. Very neat John. I'm thinking one of those trail cameras might be interesting for seeing what goes on around here at night. Tho there were not many tracks in the snow this winter.
