Howdy,

Just found these beauties today! Well, they either found me, or were sent for me?

Actually - I must admit that again I had kind of hit the wall when it came to searching online.

So I asked my recently deceased best friend and buddy... "Just send something my way that is so unique, it would blow my mind."

Within less than an hour I get an email from someone I have purchased knives before. Asking me if I would like to purchase. Done!

Then right as I am actually paying for the two knives on PayPal, I get a DM on my instagram from another collector showing me a photo of a beautiful bone W.H. Morely for sale by another member on instagram..

He is said to be contacting me soon. If the price is right I will be buying it as well. This one is all bone, no end bolsters caps. So three amazing knives in about an hour. I truly believe my best friend is up there making connections for me.. Just saying hey dude, I am here. Hard to think it is all just coincidences..

As always - I will post my own photos once in hand...

Two more just in!

Both W. H. Morley'

One jigged bone ( extremely rare plus no cracks!)

The other is a mop ring turn. With not very well aligned bolster covers, but very cool! Has 'Bill' lightest etched into mop on nose side.

Hey guys! So, I was not on here much for a long time... As well, I have been busy sculpting bronzes and not collecting much. I now have 86 ring turn knives in my collection. I am posting several photos. (Note, I very carefully pushed them into a pile!)

Hey guys, So I just found this online for $18.00! Not sure this is a 'silver hallmark stamp' or not. But it is shipping from the U.K. and was a good price.
Anyone know if this is a silver handle? Or just the stamp for William Rodgers of Sheffield? Which I understand it's stamped W.R. ** S is of course for William Rodgers of Sheffield. I am just not sure if it is silver, sterling? or Nickel silver? Any thoughts?

Cheers

Thanks!

The picture doesn't show it well but the handles on this one are a vibrant blue celluloid with gold lettering.

So, I already had one of these Medical kit (Blood letting knife) ring turns by GEORGE WOLSTENHOLME IXL. (Bottom pic) However, it was worn on the blade (much older heavier made version)

I just received this 'newer' one in the mail. Though like near new condition, it's much lighter and cheaper made feel makes me think it's not as old as my first one. Anyhow, thought i'd show them both. SAIMR stands for South African Institute for Medical Research (Johannesburg, SA)

Yeeeehaw! Just landed this rare 1910 ring turn! I have hunted this one for around three years. No rings on it, but I have vintage replacements! I will post my own photos once it arrives....
