::tu:: Here are a few of my favorite ring turn knife tang stamps. The John Watts Frog is from 1916.
The Joseph Rogers is early 19th Century as well.

I have just purchased another new antique ring turn. This is another I purchased from my French contact. It is unmarked yet probably early 19th Century. It is unique that it has barrel shaped ring holders, and it has a covered spring, with a little window exposing the back spring.

I will post my own pics once it gets here from France.

Another new ring turn guys! This is a uncracked, celluloid, 'cracked ice' scaled ring turn. Solingen, Germany is all that is on tang.
These are hard enough to find as it is. Let alone free from shrinkage, or cracking! ::ds::

Cheers,

Kirk

Yes! Another new ring turn! Plus this one is a more rare design. 'One blade', plus a bail. It has a crack in the faux horn scale (one side) So after I look it over. If I do not like the crack, I will have knife master Bill Shives, re scale it for me.

Enjoy guys,

Kirk

They are cool, right? ::handshake::

::nod:: Yes I believe it is marked on the tang, and it is indeed a Graef & Schmidt.

WHOOHOO guys, I just landed these two identical beauties! ::ds::

Seller has no idea the maker, so I will wait and see?

I will either keep them both, or use the worst shape one for trade, or offer to a knife friend for sale at cost. (They actually both look good!)

"A ring turn a day keeps the Dr. away" ? Or is that money? ::shrug::

Howdy,

Just found these beauties today! Well, they either found me, or were sent for me?

Actually - I must admit that again I had kind of hit the wall when it came to searching online.

So I asked my recently deceased best friend and buddy... "Just send something my way that is so unique, it would blow my mind."

Within less than an hour I get an email from someone I have purchased knives before. Asking me if I would like to purchase. Done!

Then right as I am actually paying for the two knives on PayPal, I get a DM on my instagram from another collector showing me a photo of a beautiful bone W.H. Morely for sale by another member on instagram..

He is said to be contacting me soon. If the price is right I will be buying it as well. This one is all bone, no end bolsters caps. So three amazing knives in about an hour. I truly believe my best friend is up there making connections for me.. Just saying hey dude, I am here. Hard to think it is all just coincidences..

As always - I will post my own photos once in hand...

Pelletts Pat. 'Lever ended knife' England

Henckels 'ALKALI' ring turn knife, with file.

Two more just in!

Both W. H. Morley'

One jigged bone ( extremely rare plus no cracks!)

The other is a mop ring turn. With not very well aligned bolster covers, but very cool! Has 'Bill' lightest etched into mop on nose side.
