Thanks Steve. I think the English Jacks are an elegant knife (and I like the name).

Jerry those are some very fine pieces of cutlery, I like the long elegant clip on the queen city. The name english jack just sounds like a classy knife and that's all there is to it.

Some real nice knives posted here.

Ken is there a story behind that STONE?

I know I've posted these elsewhere but think they belong here as well.

Case 99 frame pattern jacks.

Jerry, thanks for showing a really great, and classy, group of knives. Very nice. ::tu::

Wayne, gleaning that many knives from one frame pattern must have taken awhile.
A real nice collection there. Thank you. ::tu::

Beautiful knives Joe, Gulo. Those big ones are one of my favorites and not easy to find.

Here is a group shot, there is a Boker, Empire, Walden, Cattaraugus, Manhattan and a new GEC. The Manhattan and the Catt are the smallest at just over 3 3/4", the others are 4" or over.

Thanks guys.

JohnR: That is an impressive group! ::tu:: I'm pretty sure Boker produced that Manhattan, from what I can see of the tang stamp. They produced Manhattan knives using the Manhattan Cutlery Company tang stamp from 1868 - 1906.

Here's a few more H. Boker's.
