I just bought this "knife" for best offer. It's a CAMILLUS, single blade, two tools, "Sunshine Biscuits" (shield) pocket knife. Besides the blade, the tools are supposed to be a cap lifter/bottle opener and a can opener. It looks like it's a 3 or 4 line tang stamp. I don't know what I'm going to do with it. But when it arrives, it'll get a helluva cleaning. Per the seller, the tools are rusted shut. Here it is, not my pictures.

Have fun with that one Skip! 👍👍 I picked up this Case carving knife and fork set on eBay. It will go nicely with my kitchen knife collection... I got it dirt-cheap so that's always good!

Edit 7:21 am--I just picked up this queen cutlery kitchen knife from Etsy this morning... I love the rosewood handles on this knife!

Thank you Floyd. ::tu:: What got my attention was the "Sunshine Biscuit" shield. I'm not saying that it's a rare knife, but I've only seen one of these and that was quite awhile ago. Of course, that one was in immaculate condition. But I got this for $8, with the tax and shipping. So......... ::shrug::

These 3 will soon be in my mailbox.
I may start a new "Souvenir" section in my collection with the first knife.
I'm really interested in the PAL knife and I have no idea what the last
one is.

Nothing wrong with that Skip. The shield is worth that and who knows, you might be able to work some magic. Be fun trying. ::handshake::

For $36 it's a real bargain. ::nod:: If anything should ever happen to my Whitebuffalo58 custom Camillus 72, the EvoGrip S18 is next in line for my pocket.
Very nice Jerry. I've got three older Victorinox none older than 1980. So this will be the first newer one I've purchased. All have served well, although I don't know how I loose the tooth picks from time to time. ::dang:: But they are well made.

Beautiful Case Barlow Ryan. Great condition and scales on that one. ::tu::

Nice Trio of Knives. PAL Cutlery knives don't show up a lot. But are pretty well made knives. Here is a good thread on them. viewtopic.php?t=6012

Yes, on the last knife of your photo's. Interested to see that one. Good looking scales on it! ::tu::

I'll be honest with you Smitty. I don't have the knowledge to restore this, or any other knife. I may be able to take it apart. I may be able to remove SOME of the rust. But to clean everything, put new handles on it and reassemble the knife, the biggest virtue that I'm lacking is PATIENCE. I have absolutely none. What will happen, after much swearing and throwing of temper tantrums, is that this knife will end up at the bottom of the lake. I may try to have it restored by one of the VERY talented AAPK artisans.

Like yourself, I would lack confidence in trying to repair or replace parts. I probably would have the patience for the cleaning, polishing and even removing the scales, but like yourself, I would try to have someone else replace any parts or the scales. But.........try to refrain from throwing it in a lake. ::tounge:: ::super_happy::

This morning I bought this knife. It will be added to my "South Of The Border" collection. It is an IMPERIAL, 2 blade, 1 tool (corkscrew), "HECHO EN MEXICO" pocket knife. It also has a "Deer Head" on the handle, this qualifies it for zoo residency. This knife "brand" is part of the Imperial and Colonial, Mexico story/connection. It appears to be in good condition. When I receive it, I'll give it the once over, take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s).

A little earlier today, I purchased these four knives. First it's, as far as I can tell, an "unbranded", 3 blade, swelled center, "whittler" pocket knife. I'll have to investigate the shield. Next, it's a Remington, single blade, two tools, "Bird Knife" pocket knife. I believe I'll replace the missing shield on this knife with a spent cartridge bottom, hopefully a Remington. Third, it's an ULSTER 63, 3 blade, swelled center, "whittler" pocket knife. Again, missing the shield. What is it with ULSTER 63's and missing shields? Last is a POWR-KRAFT, 3 blade, swelled center, "whittler" pocket knife. I can't tell from the pictures, but I hope it's stamped 84-11. They all look to be in good condition. When they arrive, each will receive a thorough inspection. I will take pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s). Not my pictures.
