I'm sorry if I offended you. The whole post was in fun. I was just joking around. Maybe I did go a bit over the top but didn't mean to knock anyone. Still, it did sting, name calling and all. But I forgive you, not holding any grudge against you. It's not worth getting wound up over, just a fun hobby. I feel there are way more important things in life to get mad about.
See that's a big problem with social media. So easily to get offended and mad over the most trivial things. I know I do. That's why I quit twitter. The stuff people say on there, you would never say to the persons face. To easy to hide behind a screen.

I do want to answer one of your questions to maybe help you understand my situation a little better.
I am 20 years old and have been living for 5 years with Fibromyalgia, ME, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, IBS, severe depression, severe anxiety, and a whole host of other ailments, including Pneumonia twice (just about died in surgery), Bronchitis over 5 times, major surgery on a huge abbess (took over a year to heal), ect. So I try and laugh at my self as much as possible. Hope that clears the air up a bit.
And I do have to say you have been collecting REALLY nice knives.

Ok. I am not above apologizing when I'm wrong. I am apologizing for the way I expressed myself, not for why I said what I said. My "questions" to you were VERY sarcastic, mean spirited and ......... (you can fill that in). I wasn't attacking you (your real name), I was coming after WillyCamaro. Like the mob says, it wasn't personal, it was business. I'm sorry you have the health issues that you have. I wish you no harm and I hope it all works out for you. That post last night just hit a raw nerve, like getting a tooth drilled without novacain. Normally, if and when I get "upset", I take a few deep breaths, count to ten and usually everything is good. Last night, I should've counted to, well, a lot higher. I have posted some crap in the past and luckily I've been able to either delete the post or edit it down to zilch. This morning I removed my comments. I'm on this site because it is a GREAT site, filled with a fantastic bunch of people. I am enjoying the out of it. No group ever gets along on everything or anything all the time. There will be differences in every conversation, it's just how you express your opinion that sets the tone. Another day, another Camillus 72 variation on the way, to me.
This one is a Remington R14. Pictures are the seller's.
When I receive it, I'll repost it where it belongs.

I bought one of those Remington Whittlers at a gunshow probably 18 years ago, used it as an EDC for several years. I saw another variation in a gunshop about ten years ago (NOS) - it had brass bolsters and a Stami-wood type laminate for handles. I should have bought it but the guy was closing out an old Case Knife collection and I spent all my money at the time on those. I've never seen another one of the brass bolster Remingtons since (but I haven't been searching either). OH

OH, i'm dancin' around waiting for the knife to show up. I have another of these from the 70's in dark bone that I picked up here and really like it but wanted red bone. This had a few watchers so I watched too, ............until i couldn't watch anymore. Probably bought it too soon but that happens with me sometimes.

I just purchased this Mint Condition, Remington whittler (pattern # RE18293, per the seller). It is another Camillus 72 variation. When I get it, it will be posted in it's proper place. I would like to thank jerryd6818 for giving me the heads-up when I need a variation of a Camillus 72 or a variation of a variation. Not to my knowledge. Close but no cigar. I'm very specific when it comes to 72 clones. Must be 3-5/8" closed. Must be swell center pattern. Must have the proper blade compliment. If someone else wants to deviate, that's their business, just don't try to pass it off to me as a 72 clone.

I agree completely. I've seen a few that were tempting, but upon VERY close examination, they turned out to be nice looking stockman knives. I've gotten much much better at detecting the wannabes. But, if I screw up in the future, I will still get a nice knife in the end.

I just bought this one (best offer). Looked to close to being a Camillus 72 variation to pass it up. Seller says its unbranded, but I swear I see something on the tang. My eyes could be playing tricks on me, I'll find out when I receive it. The pictures are the seller's.

That's what I was thinking, or maybe Pakistan, but it's still a variation. Albeit probably a very cheaply made one. I'll know for sure when I receive it. Of course I'll post better, clearer pictures. Keeping my fingers crossed...........

Really nice 72's guys.
I agree Skip, that one get's me fires going big time. The jigging is epic, some of the best I've seen on any knife. Almost make me want to take the plunge, but not yet. I got me eyeballs on some other realy nice Imperials.
