This one is headed this way. Could get here on Saturday but more likely on Monday if the USPS maintains it's current steller service.

Ran on to this one on Amazon this morning and couldn't stop myself. Had my daughter order one for me (she has Prime). Even though it's made in China, for 9 bucks I couldn't pass it up. Supposed to be here Saturday.

Another forum I'm on did a Buck Ranger challenge for the whole of September--I used a 112LT, a 112LT Slim Select, as well as a 442. The 112 LT was OK, I just found its diamond texture uncomfortable. The 112LT Slim Select is just terrible all-around. It's too slim, handles aren't rounded on the edges like the much cheaper Bantams, and the steel backspacer ups the weight considerably (yes, I understand it's where the clip screws go). I liked the ergonomics of the 442, but I didn't like the design of the handle--it felt cheap and the diamond texturing had the same problems as the 112LT.

I'm missing the 422, as well as the last-gen Bucklite before the nomenclature was dropped--the 482.

I felt the finger grooves would improve the feel by a lot, so I decided to stick with the first two generations of Bucklite Ranger first.

This one, I think, is a first-gen. I love the solid feel of the handles of my Selector (still haven't gotten a second blade for it, other than the slipjoint 110 blade that model has), so I figure I'll really like this one.

Dated 1987.

Just purchased this single blade small Stockman with so called "structured poplar" wood handles. Just couldn't pass on these nice looking handles even if poplar wood isn't known as a hard wood type. ::shrug:: The seller says these knives were left over parts from Bertram Hen & Rooster knives that were assembled by Robi Klaas in Solingen. It has a Hen & Rooster Solingen Germany stamp, long pull & a swedge. ::tu:: The blade length is 7cm so I guess the closed lenght should be about 3 inches. ::hmm::
Thanks for looking friends! ::handshake:: :D

Nice one Tom! Reminds me a lot of my Buck 379 and Colonial 1-blade Ranger Stockman. The 7cm blade length would suggest it's the same size as a large Stockman.

RR Tater Skin Brown Burlap Sowbelly Skinner. I have a handful of the Sowbelly Skinners and couldn't resist adding this one to the group, especially at the price SMKW is selling them for.

Nice looking additions Chris & Jerry. ::nod:: ::tu::

I wanted to have that carring a Buck feeling with the Buck prices. So when I ran across this Klein Tools Inc. Japan knife I thought I'd give it a shot. Don't really know much about this brand but I'm hoping the quality is good. ::fc:: I was the only bidder on it so I don't know. ::hmm:: Anyways, it was only €10.75 shipped. ::tu::

Last purchase till next month. ::teary_eyes::

Victorinox Classic Limited Edition 2019 "Food of the World" - "Burger Bar".

I wanted one of these in 2019 but never did get around to buying one. These usually cost around €20 + shipping when they first come out and then often go up in price as time goes by but somebody needed some quick cash and had a whole bunch of older Limited Edition SAK's for sale at great prices. I jumped on this "Burger Bar". ::nod:: ::super_happy:: Couldn't pass this one up for €12.75 shipped. New but cheaper than new. ::groove::
