Irish made knives

Post by Little Lee »

Hi again, I'm looking for info on the different knife co. that make knives or had knives made in Ireland.

So far I have only found one Irish co. Towika some times spelled (Jowfca & Jowika)

And these companies who had Knives made over there.

Colonial
Novelty
Imperial
Diamond Edge
Schrade

Can any of the other member add to my short list?

Thanks, Little Lee

Hi Lee,

Bernard Levine's Guide To Knives And Their Values lists two other brands / makers from Ireland that you can add to your list.
Bradford, R&W.
and
Bradford, Samuel

According to Levine, both were manufacturers c. 1850. He lists them as High on his value scale. I'd bet they are hard to find.
