I've got one in my case Josh - I'll pull it out and check the number. ::tu::

Correction on the patt # on my whittler -

Looking at the pic I posted - obviously a K14 not a K18.

Hey guys. I'm a noob, first post here..
The reason I signed up is that I came across a couple of old folders at an estate sale
today. After some extensive google-fu, I found this thread.
One of the knives is an old Premier Lifetime H-53, stamped Germany
The blade has pitting, rust, but its still sharp.

Would anyone in this thread know what it might be worth?
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Just FYI, the other folder is a little H Boker & co. Solingen 3 blade

Hey guys, thanks for the welcome!
junebug-
Yes, the blade does wiggle a bit when the knife is open.
Here are some more pics. It was obviously sitting in a toolbox for many years.
I'm guessing there is a way to get that surface rust off of the blade, but
I'm new to this and haven't looked in to what the process is.

Welcome to AAPK.

I would use 4-0 steel wool and machine oil (3-in-one or some such). Any value the knife might have over and above what it has with the rust is long gone.

Hey Guys -
Just picked up a very important early whittler. Marked " Premier Lifetime Razor Steel" " Made in Germany" on the tangs. Never seen this marking. With stag scales dressed down. Marked Canadian patent #on the spiral leather punch. Etched master blade. I love it. Got it from a fellow collector.
