I don't know the nature of your trip Jamie, but perhaps you may be able to acquire some European cutlery. Safe journey my friend.

Geneva for 6 days…Rome for 5 days and Paris for 3 days….Geneva is my wife company’s conference and Rome and Paris is just for fun…well even in Switzerland will be fun, going to Zermatt to view the Matterhorn one day, another day spent on lake Geneva and some tours, but Rome and Paris will do tourism stuff, and try not to get pickpocketed in Rome or in Vatican City.

I can speak Spanish fairly well having been raised near the border and I was stationed in Germany in the military so I have enough German to get by (barely) plus I can blunder through enough Norwegian to keep from starving. So if you need a lousy interpreter I'd be happy to accompany you on you sojourn. ::rotflol::

I too blunder through a bunch of languages….I worked for a Japanese company and by far the hardest to understand/use but most of the people I worked with were very patient. I try to order chicken and rice and told the waitress I needed laundry service done…

If you're in Mexico, arroz con pollo with get you what you want

You gotta' watch those dialects too. I was in a region of Mexico I hadn't visited before and I wanted to order fried eggs. The waitress understood what I wanted but burst out laughing because because the way I phrased it I could be asking for fried "doo-dads"!!! Seems the words used for eggs can vary from province to province and have several meanings.

I like butterbean canoes. Those are all nice. The stag ones in particular and that red stag is gorgeous.
