Thanks Phil. I lucked out, I had bid as high as I was going to about an hour before the auction ended and figured I'd get out-bid.

It's one of the other 29 like Philcos'.
I have never seen a canoe with a clip master! That’s plumb slick!
Queen also made some with a single clip point blade and the traditional stag-look Delrin handle. I've seen two of them for sale on ebay. I'm trying to snag one for myself.

Love that banjo shield, Squach.

Have you seen this S&M Stag Wharnoe? (It's currently listed for sale on eBay.) Unlike my other custom home made wharnoes, this one's factory.

Charlie that Camillus is a beauty, some of their Delrin is really pretty, that one pops. Mike good looking knife , never saw a blade like that master, but then I don't get out much ::teary_eyes::

Well, I ask about that blade and the consensus is .... owner modified.... Oh well.
I was thinking something like cigar cutter at first.

Squatch, that is a good looking canoe. M-M a big ditto to what big homer said about the delrin. That is unusually handsome. ::tu::

Could well be Mike, more than likely someone broke a chunk out of it some way but we probably will never know. Still a good knife imo, I have several that have customized blades and they do the job. ::tu:: ::nod::

For some reason I've never been drawn to canoes, but that is changing and I find myself admiring them. No doubt to the considerable influence of Squatch. Plus I picked up this Bulldog MOP Canoe last month which is impressive in it's refinement. I sense that canoes are going to become a new enthusiasm of mine. Here is what has caught my attention. A couple of photos are repeats.

Now QS, I like canoes but am not a fan of MOP. That being said that one might change my mind a little. Good looking knife. ::tu::

doggleg, I can sympathize with your attitude about MOP. It would not be my first choice and never for a using knife tho maybe it would be okay. But in recent months, as I dove into the Bulldog brand, I had to get more MOP than I expected. This is due to the fact that I will only acquire natural materials, i.e. stag, bone, MOP. Bulldog made a wide variety of very nice looking celluloid covers but I just don't want to deal with the potential problems offered by these.

Yes Sir, as long as you are careful with MOP you should be in good shape but celluloid, yikes! Wise decision. ::nod::

I actually have a Bulldog on my watch list on ebay and it is MOP. ::paranoid::

doglegg, if you get it I'd like to know how it turned out. Remember to double check that it is actually an older German made [not German designed] Bulldog, unless you specifically want a China made one.
