Thanks Paul. I'd like to have one with a CV blade and no etching for EDC duty. My Ol' Yeller CV Soddie Jr. is one of my favorite EDCs. The only thing that could make it better is stag handles.

I did some outside shooting today. Here are a few of the better ones. I think I need to learn my camera a little better. Still not happy.

MadH, love the group shot, shows some personality. Like that Northwoods, the #85 Bullet End, #35 Drover, Canal Streets, that BFC Barlow, Loveless. Great bunch.

Here's one from my novelty section that I shot just for s@#ts and giggles. I used my Tidioute Model 23 trapper for scale.

The over-sized Texas Ranger Trapper is a Chinese Schrade. It's so big and heavy it can double as a boat anchor. ::rotflol::

I am enjoying the pics fellas, so many stellar knives and some great photography being shown on these pages. So I played around trying to get some decent knife photos while having my coffee yesterday morning on the porch. After my 3rd digital camera crapped out on me some months ago I've
been regulated to using my cellphone for photos and it just doesn't work well for me. Here are a few of the shots, giant knives or tiny cabin? :)

Content, composition are more important than clarity or the camera, I like the shots and using a picture/book background is not an easy feat, well done.

sunknife, I like the depth of field. Especially the 2nd one down. I think that is the best realized of the photos. Very nice. Congrats.

Thanks Mad H and Quick Steel. It's a magazine cover in the background and I think the hazy air the photographer captured in the canyon lends a somewhat surreal feel to the composition.

Some very beautiful and creative photos being posted. MH and sunknife, outstanding show!!! ::tu::

Here's one that I just acquired. This pic is for my records, again for display more than creative photography. I'm getting close to having more time to get creative but I ain't there yet! I'll be getting tired all over again within the next year or so (retired). ::rotflol::

Quicksilver, I'm very partial to the old Schrade Scrimshaw knives. Especially the 152s but I like 'em all. That section of my collection has been needing some attention and since Case seems to be neglecting the canoe pattern in their new offerings I've been on a bit of a Schrade USA search.

Royal, that's a fine Queen ya got there! Great pic too!!! ::tu::

Thanks sunknife....I'll grab my favorite rod and meet ya at the fishin' hole! ::super_happy::

Charlie, Just the other night I missed out on getting a Schrade with a dog and duck scrim. If you already have that one, feel free to gloat. :) Or if you come across one and you do not want it please send me a PM alerting me. Or if you do want it and get it, again feel free to gloat. I will congratulate you and bite my tongue.
