Just received this Rough Ryder Bow Trapper in red. It makes a nice twin to the black one.

Found this one at an antique store not to long ago. Also just upgraded my camera (phone/expensive watch) so I thought I would try out a few pics. #5 is alive.

The words vintage and antique are vague. Actually most words are vague. Even the word vague is vague.

My name is Trey. I am nine years old and new to collecting knives. I am just beginning my collection, but I have about 12 knives so far. I don't have anything expensive so far, but I do like the knives I have, and I'm interested in almost any kind of pocket knife. Here are a couple of knives that I have.

Hi Trey, it is very good to see you hear on this forum ::nod:: You have good taste in knives as far as I can see, ::paranoid:: I have an Opinel VRI No 8 Folding Knife Stainless Steel Blade with a Beech Wood Handle, similar to your Opinel knife in your photo. Good luck with your collecting.

Hi Trey, welcome to the forum. ::tu::
It is pretty nice having a young person here who is involved with knives. They are such a nice thing to own and they sure come in handy sometimes. There are a lot of patterns to chose from and it looks like you have made some good choices with your two knives. Terrific photos too.
I hope you will post some more knives when you get a chance. ::nod::
