I see you picked up a #49, one of my favorites.
Looks like central FL is full of knives.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
10-4, I see it now! I was looking at your pile and noticed the imitation Winterbottom bone on my pad this morning before the power came back on. I can blow 'em up now and get a good look with the PC. I see the brown #49 is a 1995. The little Sod Buster looks like it is unused. The whole pile looks great!bighomer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 2:42 pmActually 2 #49s the chocolate jigged Delrin is a #49 A, the etch is very faint. Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
The Queens look to be the only knives in the bunch that's been used. Everything else looks like new. The ole guy that owned these was a hunter and gun enthusiasts, as you probably know from the amount of gimme knives from the NRA. I've got a couple of them at home, now it looks like I've got a collection.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Seems like a popular knife here by quite a few, thus the reason I thought I'd give it a go.garddogg56 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 1:18 am Steve ;I enjoyed my Scllion a lot It was my first speedsafe knife.Still carry every now and then.
I have noticed the thumb stud hangs on the hem of the top edge of the pocket when the knife is clipped into the pocket.
Take care and God bless,

All of the Onion series with SpeedSafe are fantastic knives.

Looks like you snagged a nice Mini-T (white covers with flintlock & powder horn scrimshaw/etch, grooved bolsters)...very cool; that's my pick of your litter.
Can't go wrong with a Ken Onion Kershaw. The Scallion is a great little knife. Good score!Steve Warden wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 10:00 pm Picked up this Scallion at Cabela's in Hamburg, PA today.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
I feel like I racked up at the Beulah Baptist knife show in Boaz Alabama this morning:
Here is the breakdown: My brother bought this Frost Congress and gave it to me. We give each other knives on occasions, and he thinks that I can make a custom shield for this one.
The Queen (76) Hawkbill is rough. I may see if I can make something totally different out of it. The other is a Utica Electrician's knife with a broken screwdriver blade.
Then there is a Craftsman "72 pattern" for restoral, and a Camillus sailor's knife. I have been needing a backspring for a sailor's knife, and luckily that is about all that is still good on this one!
. This Kabar 1184 Folding Hunter is about to become a single-blade knife.
This Frontier small Stockman just needs a light cleaning.
Ulster 58OY, Schrade 34OT, and Schrade 881 all need a little work.
Laslt, a Schrade Walden 825, Schrade Scrimshaw SC505, and a Schrade 881Y.
The last two Schrades and the Frontier are all pocket-worthy toters right now. Everything else is just for fun.
