Nice find Joe! I have one that looks almost the same but it has a different # on it. 1967redrider gave me this one. It's the only Queen I have in my collection.

Nice one Philip! I like that one!treefarmer wrote: ↑Sat Jun 12, 2021 2:46 am This one was in the mailbox today, a Schrade Walden 196, florist knife. It has the 1946-1973 tang stamp so it is from 48 to 75 years old.

This Kissing Crane with horn showed up this week. Looks like it might be NOS. Anyways, it gets a spot in the showcase. Last picture is just a size comparison. Good medium sized knife.
Thanks for looking friends!

NOS or not, it's a beauty and a keeper!
Here is my delivery for today, another Camillus 27. This one has a very prominent Channellock etch. It isn't perfect (ding on the front cover, up near the top of the bolster, and the bail seems to have a slight tweak). But it's presentable, and if I find a nicer one, it'll get carried!

Tom, My posting got mixed up on this thread because I did not identify which knife I was commenting on. And a whole bunch of entries got between dir110 and my response. So when I mentioned his two knives and their case I was referring his nice acquisitions.
However, Having looked over your new pick-up with the wonderful buffalo horn I can only add kudos. Great looking knife.

Been looking for a Camillus 715 Yello-Jaket for about 6 months. Had one on my Ebay Saved Searches all this time and ended up finding one right here on AAPK thanks to the streaming banner at the top of the page.

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Showed up yesterday!!
My first ever GEC. Having once worked in the Pennsylvania oil fields myself, and being a collector of antique engines and machinery, this knife called out to me. The scales made from reclaimed sucker rods is the icing on the cake. The fit and finish is far above and beyond that of any knife I have ever owned, including my best bucks and cases. Giving it some pocket time in the shop today, as my club prepares for an engine show next week. I told myself that I wouldn’t put a lot of miles on this one, but it’s going to be hard to resist the temptation to grab it every morning.

Congrats again and loved the review. Exact sentiment I have about being beyond my Bucks and Cases, and S&M and about every other brand I have except Moki. GEC made a convert our of me and I feel like you feel. Now I seek mostly GEC. Carry on and love it some. Not as much fun in the safe. 86s are out there, you can always get a back up if you really want/have to have one. Best carried, used, loved on, coon fingered, chicken eyed, appreciated, held, rubbed, played with and enjoyed I say. Congrats again and great to see your pics.Steamboat Willie wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 3:15 am Showed up yesterday!!
