I’ve always been intrigued by key knives, though I’ve never actually handled one. I’d love to have a spare house key in one!
Excellent find!

Cool find Jerry. Congrats I would probably be playing with the trick knife for days. Of course, it doesn't take much for me to be intertained.jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 3:03 pm After years of wanting a Key Knife and a Trick Knife, I found them on the bay being sold as a pair and in fairly good condition. Posting a sellers picture because I don’t want to unbox it. My Dad is fond of KA-BAR, so I snagged this little rascal off the Bay for him for Father’s Day.

What a thoughtful son. Could you have a chat with my son? (Just funnin'. Actually he's a pretty good human being. Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Got this one in Monday. A DunLap U.S.A. Hawkbill or as listed in the Sears Catalogs a Pruner. The tang stamp is clear, and is listed as being used from 1938 until 1942, but Sears must have purchased plenty because the Dunlap pruners are listed in their catalogs up until 1952. i figured this would go good with my other Camillus family as I understand that the Dunlap Brand was Sears middle grade brand and many were produced by Camillus. I had to do a little cleaning on it. Here are the photos. I will post some more about it in the Camillus Thread.

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Fished one out of the shallow end of the bay this week. At first I thought it was a WW2 EO General Purpose Utility Knife but on a second look I realized that the blade was not a spear but a clip. Not in the best of shape but still a very sweet old 4 line knife.
Picked this one up from Perry over on Facebook Traditional Knife Collectors forum. It is a Kutmaster 3 blade stockman pattern probably made in the 60's. It is featured on page 125 of "Pocket Knives of the United States Military" by Silvey. It is in wonderful shape. Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............

Wow! Beautiful Knives Floyd! I like em both very well but if you told me I could pick one... I'd make a quick fake move towards that EO, (while yelling out "Hey look! Theres a chicken!) then double back & grab up that Kutmaster faster than the human eye can see!
Yes Sir! That's what I'd do! Congrats on the nice finds!
Signing off. Good night friends!

Thanks Tom and Dan
Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Nice score on that 2OT. I'm hoping to find something nice as I start (for the first time in about 3 years) hitting the flea markets and local junk shops. To me, it has to be cheap (which for most American or German bone-handle traditional and most modern not-Chinese tactical knives $20 is cheap; but expensive for many small, simple SAK models or most small American lockbacks), not Chinese or Pakistani; and in decent shape.
It's in better shape than most 2OTs I see. With me, that would have immediately become an EDC after filling that chip, but I can't wait to see what you do with it.
