Threw the bait out there and just waited for the bite. "I believe I did find these...…" I believe you got ahold of the one leg I have that already had not been pulled. Congratulations and thanks for sharing with us poor gullible masses.

Now I remember. There's the culprit. Greg, thank you very much for the display cases. They're not only beautiful, they're as slick as a greasy door knob. I really appreciate them. I've thought so much about what to put in them, my brain hurts. Don't worry, I'll decide who has the honor. I'm leaning towards GECs in one and Camillus 72s & clones in the other.

You are most welcome Jerryd. I knew as many of those Mini-trappers as you 've been showing off Something would be overflowing somewhere.jerryd6818 wrote:AH HAH!!gsmith7158 wrote:Forgot to mention I got some new display cases. One to finish up my Empires, One for my Northwoods and 2 for my GEC's.

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
You've already seen it Greg but for everyone else, I decided to fill one with my stag GECs. They fill it quite nicely. I may do some adjustments and rearrangements later but for now, this is what it is. I'm thinking Case Mini-Trappers in the other one but haven't done anything about it yet. Please excuse the crappy cell phone picture.
Edit: An even worse crappy cell phone picture but tomorrow's another day. I'll get better pics then.

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
My wife came home from a stop at an estate sale with a big surprise - two knives! The first is an MoP Queen stockman from 1958-60. It is in pretty bad shape, but the blades still snap and it was clearly owned by someone that used their knife! The second is a new brand for me. It is stamped "Royal Brand, USA" on the primary tang, and the secondary has "S." on the tang. My search says Royal Brands were imported by someone named Samuel E. Bernstein and sold at Woolworths. They disappeared in the 1950s, so it's probably at least that old. It's not a very well made knife - it is very light and the blade and handles are quite thin. It's a single spring with thin brass liners.
Do you think the "S." was a personal engraving and not from the factory?

I noticed that you both have a knife (Schrade) with the same shield. Does the shield say Copenhagen?

I managed to get another one of these ultra fine gec 81 stockmans. Still have a long way to go to have a minty one of each version, they sure are hard to find.

Not a dipper but unusual that two should show up in a row, and nice little knives. That case caught my eye too.TripleF wrote:doglegg wrote:I noticed that you both have a knife (Schrade) with the same shield. Does the shield say Copenhagen?
