Sorry, here is what I got in the mail today.
4 Queens and a Schrade Walden. (I'll raise another $100)

Nice haul, some great lookers there, and thanks for sharing the pics with us, fun to see what's coming to others and being let in on the goodies. Vicarious living through others experiences is a treat.
You're right Sir, I learn more from the pictures and comments on AAPK than I think I ever would from reading magazines or boring books. I must be crazy to say that when I've just written my 4th book... ::facepalm::

Well I would second that. Not crazy at all, just so much on here to glean and it never ends. Thanks again.

That is a stunning knife Ken! Those covers are simply gorgeous. I wore a Tiger's Eye ring for years so I for one can testify to how nice it looks in person. Just beautiful my friend! 8)

Stunning is right. Beautiful piece, and a work of art. Congrats on that one of a kind. Man alive.

Thank you Mark, IMan and Mark. I appreciate your comments. ::handshake:: Actually, the photos don't do it justice. You should see it in hand. I did not know what Tiger Eye was until I saw this knife. Mr. Hoover does a lot of custom work with exotic stone. I've wanted one of his knives for about a year now, but was never able to catch one before they were gone. Glad I was able to get this one.

jerryd, you can shave with a pocket knife if you know how to sharpen it to a shaving sharp edge like AG Russell does (well...did, may he RIP).

Here are the knives I got today.
A Bantam Alox; a Swiss Army 1 Alox and a small penknife that has a Diamond with the letter W in the middle and then GERMANY under that. I've looked and can't find anything on it.

I found this chart that says the "W" in the diamond is "JH Williams, United-Greenfield" I have no idea if this is the same company as your knife blade, so take it all with a large grain of salt...

I am a newby to this site but was asked to post a picture of my complete set of TKCA (Texas Knife Collectors Association) club knives from 1980 - 1994. The organization is no longer around. My presentation is not very ingenious, but it shows the complete set with info. I have no idea as to their value.

Sorry to hear about the outgassing because it's a pretty knife with cool swirls. But I get it. That's why I don't buy celluloid. Anxious to see what you turn it into. Good luck and can't wait for the before and after.

An old unused '65-69 62087 with decent bones and great walk and talk, great fit and finish, great action, smooth everything. Very happy with it.

~Q~ that is really a nice looking knife. Have you worked with Kirinite before. I was just thinking you might find some that would keep that same look of the handles.

That's a shame regarding the outgassing ~Q~ because that swirl effect looks great. I love the straight simple lines on your knife, and it'll be very interesting to see how you re-cover it. A really nice little knife overall! In reference to David inquiring if you've worked with Kirinite, I can vouch for the stuff, it was easy to work with and had endless choices for patterns. 8)

This knife seems kindda off style for you Iman, you're usually posting Wharncliffe's and such, but it's still a really cool little folder! And, over 50 yrs. old and unused, unheard of! 8)
