It was kind of feeling in a nostalgic mood today so I carried three knives that I have customized or repaired.
The top knife is an Old Timers; 123OT that I customized about 10 years or so ago. The stag was some that came from the Henckel factory in the file work was just a variation on an arrowhead pattern.
The middle knife is and M Klein & Sons electrician knife with a short blade added from a three bladed the electrician’s knife. The red and white bone are glued and pinned and the white spacer material is only glued in. The entire knife was an experiment in different facets of knife modifying, from the handles to the pattern on the bolster to the Eagle filed into the back springs. I have made much nicer versions of this knife but this is still my favorite as is the first one I did. This one was probably done 10 or 11 years ago.
The little Gerber FS I just needed the cracked and splitting rosewood replaced in the handle. I replaced it with water buffalo horn. I like the Gerber FS patterns and have two or three of them I carry from time to time.

Dale: Each of your three has its particular appeal. But the middle knife, M Klein & Sons with the eagle, is quite special. Very soulful. ::tu::

Great knives folks. I’m toting, as always the Spyderco Military and the SAK Climber. The big Boker congress I’ve already used today to clean my finger nails, which I’m sure is more work than the Congress in Washington has gotten done today.

It took an 18 month search; finally found one & since this Case/Bose Lanny's arrived a month or 2 back I haven't carried many others, I keep gravitating to it.
And - I am almost too ashamed to admit this - it has taken the sting out of my knife collecting addiction
It took a fair chunk out of my Knife buying Kitty too  but right now I am not actively 'looking' for anything.
Surely this strange vug will pass ::teary_eyes:: ... but in the mean time I'll keep on carrying this wonderful knife.

This is what I carried yesterday, as soon as I grab a shower and breakfast I will decide what I'm going to carry today.

Top to bottom:
Benchmade Mini Griptillian,
Kershaw Damascus Wild Turkey (this is a first, not a second),
Schrade 2OT restoration. The original blades were worn down to nubs and the handle was replaced with what appeared to be pieces of fir wood. The blade was an unused and unstamped Schrade Cut Co blade.
