An old-ish Case and an even older USA Boker.

Is that Boker by any chance an 1153 ?
That classic old spear point equal end pattern is, in my opinion, the gold standard for penknives, and I bet the walk and talk is still like new. ::nod::

What pattern is that equal end, Ken?
I still need pattern identification 99.99% of the time and this time I need to ask, given my previous post :) .

It's a 6279 - SS pen knife, 3-3/16" closed length.

The Case guys are green with envy right now. What a looker!

Is that red stag or some sort of carved stagbone?

Great eye! ::handshake:: It is indeed an 1153, jigged red bone with the "TREE BRAND" etch faintly visible under the patina. It's one of my favorite pickups yet from everybody's "knife guy" Scott (TripleF). I'm not normally a fan of small knives guy -- I usually seek out one small-medium knife for the watch pocket most days, though I usually opt for a more robust pattern -- but this one is a demon slicer, mechanically sound, and still looks good for its age. I think it's gotten more carry than any other pen knife/Senator-style knife I have.

Been carrying this Kershaw (thanks Mike) for the past couple weeks. LOVE the pocket clip and the ease of getting it on and off the
pocket lip!
