In addition to my usual, thought I would carry something a little fancier today.

Workday pair. The other small knives are jealous.
Gonna take dynamite to blast the Case XX small stockman out of my watch pocket.

Better hang on to that one Sunknife, don't make them like that anymore. Lost art. Was thinking the same of this when I grabbed it this morning. I tried to carry the same knife for a week. Managed, but man did I want to see something different by about day 4. By 7 it was, "NEXT!" Feels better looking at something different every day, or every few days, or whenever the mood strikes now or then. So many beautiful knives, so few days remaining. Gotta rotate from the norm and enjoy the scenery and the journey. There are none so blind as those who will not see. Don't want it to be me. The same knife every day to me is like only listening to the same song every day. I like other songs too. I want to hear the rest of the album sometimes, or a different album, or a song I haven't heard for ages, or a different station, or maybe even music that's new to me. My favorite game might just be musical knives.

Love that Case barlow TB. When I was young I bought several of those to give away as gifts whenever one of my friends invited me to a birthday party. They could be had for a couple of bucks (or less) back then. I'd sure like to buy some for that price today.

Dunno how I missed this from last week:
ken98k wrote:Question about your 110 w/thumbstud.
How does it work? Has the main spring been weakened somehow?
I don't believe I could open one of mine with just adding the stud.
The main spring on that 110 is just as solid as the day Buck packed it at the factory. The pivot isn't overy tight but I still can't "flick" it open and I have some fairly strong thumbs. I basically choke up ever so slightly on the frame and just push it open, it snaps at about 35 degrees and takes it the rest of the way.

As you can see, I have one on my 112/450 "mutie" as well.

Thanks, Phil! ::handshake:: I wish you would have attended a couple of my birthday parties.  That humble, worn little 10-dot is my favorite knife. If I had to pick just one to carry from now on, that'd be it.

The 1047 for some variety! Nice totes, big-H. Is that Winterbottom knife in the middle a muskrat? Love the bone on that bad boy.

I think I figured out why I keep having to hitch up my drawers today...
