That is one hard-workin #27, GD, Camillus made them rock solid up til the end (even if they left a few unfinished edges on some of the end of days knives... ). Love the edge those big fellers take and keep.garddogg56 wrote:Homer what is the wooden soddie?Yard work today and picked up my new wheeler carried these hard working Camillus knives

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
It's about the only way you could commit to one knife every day, I think. Take the "little big knife" of the 72, take out the "extra" clip and put in a caplifter. The only thing that would make it better IMO is if the same mod was done to a first-gen 72 - clip master, pen secondary, caplifter on the other side, on the 72 frame? Could be the perfect knife. The only question is, are YOU willing to sacrifice a first-gen to do it? (Unlike Jerry, however, I still have designs on an amber bone Case 6207 with lifter. )Grump01 wrote:Jerryd, Guess this is how you seem to have resisted the Case Mini Trapper Caplifter ¿ ¿ ¿ ¿.jerryd6818 wrote:Same knife. Speaking of the 72, I'm totin' one in yella today along with my trusty Case 3233 because the weather is so dumpster-garbage bad that I need a little sunshine in my life.

One of my constant companions, Lone Wolf/Loveless City Knife
Usually paired with a Canal Street Cutlery SFO, BFC annual knife for the Traditional forum, a Bokote covered Serpentine Shadow Jack with Birds Eye pivots, (one of the last production runs to roll out the door before they closed. The shield is made using old Schrade dies and stamped outta old Schrade NS stock recovered from the old Schrade factory after Schrade closed their doors. The Serpentine Jack has a lot of sentimental value to me.
Here's the pair with the slip sheath I keep them in.

Man y'all sure are toting the top shelf stuff. I've been swapping out between a GEC wharncliff whittler, CASE 3299 1/2, and a S&M railsplitter. I'd take some pics, but I've got a bad case of the lazies right now. Lol

A big hunk of cheese calls for a big hunk of knife, so I grabbed my big 6143 with the scary-sharp carbon blade and went to town on some mozzarella.
Everything's better with a Barlow
