Finishing up a deck day, took time out for photos on the blades. Whittled some sticks down to use as spacers, sharpened the carpenters pencil, deboxed sawblades, screws, bits etc.

Thanks as well, I call it bone stag, don't know if that's what they call it. Love the stuff too, wish someone was doing bone like this these days.

Gorgeous day, taking the girls for a 100 mile loop drive in the Merc, will stop at a friends brewery and pick up a keg and get some lunch in another small town. This extremely well made wharncliffe lock back whittler is in my pocket, Sambar stag, gold pins, Carpenters XHP blades and springs, think stainless D2.

Those are great and you just gave me an idea. I have a fixed blade similar to that one, but the handle is missing, so maybe a piece of bamboo will work on it. Can't hurt to try.

QS, is that bamboo knife full tang or a folder? Hard to tell on my cell.

Kris, you'll have to let us know what kind of brew you end up with, happy motoring.

What a great way to spend the day. Hanging out with your girls, packing a great pocket knife and picking up a keg of beer.
