Not true in the least, yours belong as much as any, I like seeing those old bones any day and the threesome is great. Beautiful Rogers bone Homer and it's always interesting to see what everyone posts. IMHO.bighomer wrote:WOW!!!!! That's all I got fellers. Knifeslinger that's a great looking 66. Hemlock Green is good stuff.
TB the Northfield is beautiful.
Quick that's a great shot, love the background.
Pulled out the box cutter for this job. Great blade for it.

I have had this Case TB Sowbelly Stockman since it was born on 10/18/2007. I have since accumulated many other knives. Queens, Original Winchesters, Case, Schatts, Pal, Robesons, Schrade and many other fine knives but I keep going back to this Sowbelly. Not the prettiest bone but for some reason I like how it feels in my pocket. It is so heavy duty and the blades are sharper than any knife I own. It just feels so good in hand and I like it alot. Thanks for looking!!

You guys are carrying some nice ones. I love the bone on all the knives on this page and the ironwood Barlow as well. That bone color and shield combo on your calf roper is classic KnifeSlinger. Great knives by all posting here.
Here's the combos I've rotated this week. The 72 lock back has been getting the most use lately and is developing a patina.

Made by Bayonne Knife Co., N.J. From what I gather they were in business from late 1800's to 1910 making this knife over 100 yrs. old. Blade is pitted but takes a real sharp edge, snaps open and shut, and no cracks in the handles. Thanks for the interest J1890.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Thank you so much Doglegg!! I don't know about others but I have put the sowbelly up for a while and carried others but it's always sitting there in my shadow box with others and I just feel the need to put it in my pocket and carry it. I guess it will always be my Legacy knife!! As much as I try and carry others and do carry others I always come back to the sowbelly!! Do you have one that speaks to you like that? I can remember like yesterday the day I bought it. I wanted a heavy duty knife that I could put to work. I was also looking at a Case Sanbar Stag Tiny Muscrat that was way better looking but bought the sowbelly instead. My wife seen I was torn and went back a week later and bought the tiny muscrat for me! But the sowbelly will always be my Legacy knife and if I could only have one it would be the sowbelly! Sorry for the long rambLe but I think the stories of our knives and how they make us feel are sometimes better than the acquisition of the knives themselves. Have a great weekend!!doglegg wrote:Woodwalker, every time I scroll past this picture I have to stop and look a while.
