Dropped this one in my pocket today. Love the awl, so useful for a variety of tasks. And this knife is super stout.

Nice! I have a little Robeson that is in a similar frame but has a TL-29-like screwdriver as well. If it weren't for the fact it's pretty danged rare, I'd carry it a lot more. And it needs the handles replaced. Got a huge pin crack in the ivory celluloid, and a chunk fell out at the center pin.

You guys make me feel like a putz. I carry this one all the time but never have occasion to use it. I have a couple on my desk that I use occasionally but never pull out the knife in my watch pocket.

But, don't you just feel better with it in your pocket, jerryd, even though you rarely use it?

I admit that I'm pretty much the same in that I rarely have any need to use an EDC knife, but I always have one on me just in case. (And because I feel naked leaving the house without a knife in my pocket despite also having several knives in each of my vehicles.) ::nod::

So.......why do you carry it then? ::undecided::

Years of habit. I feel naked without a knife in my pocket even though I haven't used it in years. Yeah I know, weird.

Cool knife, Jerry, I love that bomb shield. Better to have a knife when you need it than wish you had it. ::nod::👍

Going with a Cattaraugus D2589 Whitt-L-Kraft today, no etch but decent shape after I gave it the #2 pencil cleanup. Interesting punch on these.
