Willy is the winner!.I knew it was obscure and Goins has very little info. That makes it kind of hard to give hints.Sweet little knife.

Not exactly right. Nelson is not spelt as "Nelsen".
I'm just annoyed with myself for not checking back sooner.

Could you guys be talking about Axel Nilsson, Germany? They were imported by Thompson Hardware and maybe Nelson Hardware in Roanoke, VA. I'm a bit confused ?? Here's a cattle knife marked, AXEL NILSSON, SWEDISH STEEL. No "Germany" . (Did the Germans advertise "Swedish Steel"?)
Could be pre tariff but not sure those glitter celluloid scales could be that old. Doesn't appear to be altered. Just wondering. Levine says Nelson Knife Co. may have been Nelson Hardware, c. 1915. ::shrug:: J.O'.

Every Axel Nilsson knife I have ever seen was made by Utica. They may be some German ones, but Levine isn't always correct. He just thinks he is.

Sup fellow monkey's, time to get the 'ole gears a'working again.

Next knife up for guess is a large stock pattern. Dark jigged bone handles (dark root beer brown, doesn't show well on camera). Turkish clip main blade, long key pull.
This ones a little tricky folks, she's not what she appears to be...

50/50 John. Right country, wrong maker.

Here's you next hint, should throw a wrench into the system...
DSCN5273.JPG
Spear-point pen, warncliff secondary's... And I can 110% promise you, you've never seen this stamp before. Forget about Goins', nothing even remotely close. She's a rare one, indeed.
