Big skinner

Post by Rossr »

Every so often I make a big blade like this. Guess it would make a nice skinner. Brass bolsters, wood handle and O-1 tool steel. I made the sheath too.

Great looking blade and sheath. What's the dimensions?
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Very nicely made!
The design of those skinners looks like a very useful (and safe) design. Looks like your hand fits nicely and a slip won't get you cut.
