Saved by Tony Woods

Post by TripleF »

Couldn't resist using that tile Tony (Tony's a minister and a knife maker on the side).

You all knew I was contacted by James at IHK. https://ihknives.com/
They asked for my thoughts and review on one of their knives. I agreed to take a knife making kit!

Side note....Tony asked for a parts knife I had for sale. I said, it's on me....just do me a favor down the line.

I botched up the knife kit pretty bad and ended up using paracord to handle it.

Tony....said, Hey Scott.....knice job on the paracord hand, but I bet that's not what you were hoping for. He was correct.

Send it to me......I'll put some scales on it for ya. I chose walnut wood. I love it.

Thanks many time over Tony!! ::not_worthy::

The Para cord was a good fix for your learning curve but I'm sure you'll be much happier with Tony's product.

Thanks Scott...and others.
When I asked about a particular parts knife that Scott had on eBay he immediately pulled it and wanted my address. I had no intentions of him giving me the knife. Now I have learned my lesson with him ::shrug::

Parts knife, or none, I was glad to do this job Scott. Hope you can teach those young fellas how to start a ferro rod fire, or better yet a bow drill fire!
