My friend Seth Borries just made this wooden guard straight back knife. Honey Locus handle and a cocobolo guard ! Seth Borries is 29 years old. He is the youngest "Forged in Fire" weekly champion. Seth just made this "Karen" knife in Snakewood for me last month.
Soooo cool!!

Finally got these finished along with their sheaths. Out the door, and on the way to being Christmas presents.

MAN.....Both of those knives are very nice.... BUT.... that snake wood knife is KILLER!!
Seth calls this a "KAREN" black hammered harpoon clip blade knife. I want Seth to make me a "Full tang" Confederate Bowie knife next year. I might go with snakewood again. Seth is the youngest "Forged in Fire" weekly champion. He makes the sharpest knife that I have ever held in my hand.

MAN.... those are nice Tony! A couple of BEAUTIES!
I like small fixed blades like those. They don't take up much room and are always ready for action!
2 thumbs up!
Thanks Mike. Though I always have a skip joint in the pocket, I like a fixed blade knife for working. These hide well, and work hard.
I am planning to make a neck sheath for one of them.

Nice! I like the way you textured the micarta, too.
Thanksgiving Doc. I purchased a factory knife that had handle scales textured like this. I like the way it gives extra grip over smooth scales. Was worried about hot spots, but have not had issues.
