Fixed blade builds
Re: Fixed blade builds
Tony, those are fantastic. Beautiful and functional all at the same time. I also like your choice of steel.

No sir. I do not have a website. I should invest in one, but this might become work rather than a hobby. Thank you.Colonel26 wrote:Tony, those are fantastic. Beautiful and functional all at the same time. I also like your choice of steel.

That curly maple looks great. As always, a really great knife. Have plans for any more bowie's?

I have a few more knives to finish before another Bowie. Those are freelance, off the cuff. That takes to pressure off, and allows this to remain a hobby.

Re: Fixed blade builds
I certainly agree with the comments about the striking curly maple. However, for me, the very first knife is compelling. The lines and grinds just all flow. I love that knife.

Like the knives as always Tony. Is that a shotgun shell brass on the one little knife?
Re: Fixed blade builds
Super nice! Are you going to put the lanyard on another knife...or is that for something else?

Some great looking knives Tony. That antler handled one catches my eye. Great job.
Re: Fixed blade builds
Great job on the knives shown here. I particularly like the drop point with the black micarta. Is that G10 or what? You may have just inspired me to make another knife! Thanks!

Thanks Doc. That has a 1600 grit hand finish. I usually stop at 300 satin, so not many get taken that far.Doc B wrote:Awesome!!! I'm gonna go ahead and vote...bottom one.
