I don't know if this is the right Thread to post pictures of my one attempt at building a Knife, from a blade/hilt kit. I constructed this "Coffin Bowie" type knife, using a kit sold by a well known Black powder store, in Ohio, in the 1970 era, in my black powder shooting days. The carbon steel blade, and bronze hilt laid unused for many years, and then about twenty years ago I dug it out of my stuff, and constructed this knife. The handle scales are made of Ebony I had saved for such a project. The bronze hilt is pinned, and silver soldered to the blade. I also made a sheath, and display stand for them.

Brumby:
The blade length is seven, and five sixteenths inches. Thanks for the interest, and comments. Here is a little better picture of the knife and stand.
