A Pair of Hunters

Post by btrwtr »

Here are two hunters that I am ashamed to say how long were in the making. I haven't had much creative energy when it comes to custom knives in the last few years but finally made the sheaths for them. Handles are fossil walrus tusk and blades are CPM 154. Spacers are NSL, ebony wood and vulcanized fiber. The larger flat ground blade is 5 1/8" and the smaller hollow grind blade in 4 7/8" long. The hollow ground will be headed to Nova Scotia on a moose hunt with the new owner in the very near future.

Thanks all for the compliments. I've had that fossilized walrus ivory for some time and finally put it to use.
