To me the C on the tang stamp starts in the wrong place above the a, but these near 70 year old eyes could be wrong.

Did Case make any with slotted/grooved bolsters like this one?

Is this on eBay or the AAPK store? Searching item #56302 brings up nothing.

AAPK store. If you search that number it comes up. That how I found it.
It is also in the banner at the top of the page.

The knife is not right. The shield (open C, flat top S) is from late 1960s - 1970s, was never used in Tested era. That’s all I need to see without even looking at the rest of it.

Those handles are clear acrylic with gold glitter on the surface. You can see the pins through the clear portion on the "top down" photo. I'm sure they didn't use that in the '20 to '40 era. That's only been used in the last twenty years or so if I recall correctly.

I've asked the seller to remove this knife. Made it unavailable to purchase pending response. ::tu::

Nothing at all right about this knife. Thanks Bryan!

This stamp looks off to me, the word CASE is too high, the two dots are huge, bigger than any I have, and the USA doesn't look like the normal font. Also looks cold struck to me, just wondering if anyone else sees anything wrong with it? Thanks for any thoughts anyone might have.

See my reply in the other thread where you posted this. Nothing wrong with the knife.
