Case Tested Swell Center Jack

Post by RalphAlsip »

I can't even make a guess as to what pattern this is supposed to be. Did Case ever make a swell center 2 blade jack with both blades on the same end? The blank bow tie shield was not used on Case Tested XX knives. The stag on the front handle looks off to me. The handle pins don't seem right either. The main blade and stamp do look OK to me. The secondary blade doesn't look like a Case blade to me.

Beautiful old stag frame, but not a Case. Blade may be real but did not originate in that frame.

I saw the knife earlier and agree with Steve. If it were an older blade stamp things can get fuzzy as far as known patterns but with the Tested blade it's a no.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
