Case Parts Knife

Post by just bob »

This seller has history on this web site and I can see he is not selling this as genuine. This is put together from parts of different knives and just shocking at the number of bids and the price this knife is bringing. It can't be worth this as an EDC and those handles have pin holes in them that aren't used. Looks like a sad mess to me?

Can someone explain this to me? ::hmm:: Right now the bid is $162.50 with a day left to bid. What are people seeing here or did they just not read what Keith complimented the seller for saying? ::shrug::

There have been several instances of radio DJs clearly telling listeners to NOT send money, that they will NOT receive anything and that this is entirely a scam - and then giving the information for how listeners can send their money. Without fail, these pranks collect thousands of dollars that the radio station then has to donate to a charity.

That knife is nothing but a mess. Makes you wonder about the bidders too.

This is the second time this seller listed the same knife. The first time, when it was described as being authentic, it sold for $96. I sent him a message saying that it was a parts knife about three hours before that auction ended. He said he did some further research, agreed with my assessment, and then cancelled the sale. Then he re-listed the knife as a parts knife as you now see. Why it is now bidding up to $162.50 is beyond my level of comprehension, particularly when it sold for $96 when listed as genuine.
