Case Tadpole

Post by just bob »

Aren't there multiple problems here? Handle material and pins don't look right. Is there an actual tadpole with tortoise shell handles from this era? Also box is obviously for a 2 bladed knife and not from the right era - this is a single blade.

The basic knife is authentic - a genuine early Case - but as you noticed the handles are newly installed.

Case did make the tadpole in imitation tortoise and I have seen a one blade 29 pattern in tortoise - 7129 1/2.
