23087 Tested LP
This knife has me worried
At a glance it looks like a sweet little stockman.
But the shield looks very FLAT S which we find often on the USA and dotted era
I don't find it likely to see this on a tested knife
The knife itself appears to be made of case parts, just things don't add up
The finer details I guess

The shield routing is not perfect either, not unheard of.. Shield replacement?
Just curious to what you guys think

Does not look like a shield that would be on a tested knife. Could be a replaced blade in a newer frame as well. I would think a replaced blade would be more likely than a replaced shield.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

XX shields are not unheard on late tested XX knives. I think the knife is OK, but it probably has been "cleaned".

Doesn't look like a XX era shield to me. Based on what appears to be a flat top and bottom on the "S" I think it's a USA or dotted era shield. But I don't think the swedged master blade is a USA or dotted era 087 master. If I had to guess based on the pictures shown, I'd say a Tested era master in a USA or later frame.

Definitely a cobbled knife. The Tested blade looks authentic, definitely a USA to early 70's frame. I also have never seen any Case 87 pattern with a long pull blade. I do not know what pattern that blade came from.

Yes, looks like a blade from an 06267.
