Case parts knife

Post by just bob »

Here's one put together from parts and a good knife for study. The blade is 6165 and has stag handles. Older type shield with pins and maybe a glue in type went with the handles? You can tell the knife has been taken apart if you look at the center pin. It is not a factory finished job there. Has value for parts but the buyer likely won't be happy with this.

Looks like a hacked customization. Bolsters show a lot of abuse from fitting the non-original handles. And yes the previously pinned in shield looks to be glued on.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
