Case Tested Knife

Post by just bob »

I'm thinking the bone, pins, & shield don't look right on this.

I'm thinking maybe the photographer is a counterfeit on that one. Can't tell much about it. ::shrug::

I don't really see anything that stands out as being wrong with it.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

The bone on the knife looks relatively new compared to the wear on the blades to me. As they say, the old knife is wore out. Tterrible pictures as Greg alluded to as well.

I agree with Tom on the bone. Looks like newer than Tested era but shield looks okay (tall S shield). Pictures are so lousy it's hard to say anything for sure. ::shrug:: Sold for $38 so whoever bought it didn't get burned too bad either way - good old EDC if nothing else.

Yes I think its an original old 44 pattern well worn, with new handles and shield.
