Interesting knife to study

Post by just bob »

The seller admits this is a Franenknife - no doubt there. Admire his honesty and appreciate the fact that he doesn't call it rare. Interesting though isn't this a Remington frame with different era Camillus blades? I can't tell from the pictures if any of the Remington blades remain? Amazing that it all went back together. The brass bolster pin add a touch of class. The Johnny Cash song about one pc. at a time kind of describes how this knife was built.
