The blades have large choils that look like the ones you see on Cattaraugus knives.The jigging looks suspect also.I would speculate that the blades were some unstamped left over Catt blades.

I know next to nothing about Honk Falls knives, but thought it looked suspicious when I saw it too. Just intuition I guess.

It is a nice looking knife though.

If I saw it without seeing this thread first I would not have suspected much of anything, I guess that means I need to learn some basic info on honk falls.

Being stamped Honk Falls it has a very slim chance of being right given the number of fakes on the market. Nice looking knife but looks like a fake to me. Stamps look bad.

Sellers description now says he has received messages from "friends of friends of longtime collectors" (whatever that means

) saying the knife may be a reproduction.

Yes it did Mike, I could have sold my FAKE Rem Bullet knife too for $300 instead of $33 bucks BUT I have to sleep at night, LMAO
