My first Jigged and Dyed bone rehandle.
I've made a couple fixed blades from files etc but never had messed with pocket knives much but after looking through the forum at all of the great guides and tutorials I thought why not give it a try. I had this no line Camillus with shrunken scales.
I got some smooth bone blanks tested some jigging ideas.
After jigging I dyed them tan using leather dye. Didn't have enough to soak them so I dumped in some black.
Cleaned up the blades a little and pinned it all together and polished it up some.
I'm happy with the way it turned out. Opinions please.

That looks great! I really like the look of that bone, the way that the dye only penetrated so far, and left the hafting lighter in color. The color and jigging looks similar to some old Western handles that I have, only yours looks better!

Wow! Thanks guys! I'm glad you all like it, after putting in so much time and effort and liking the outcome getting positive opinions from others who enjoy pocket knives is icing in the cake.

Great job on the jigging.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
