This years' company fundraiser knives

Post by glennbad »

As some of you may recall, every year our company does a spaghetti supper fundraiser to help local organizations. We had been benefiting EasterSeals, but the last couple years, we have sought out smaller groups, that can do more with the money we raise. This year our fundraising will support the Police Athletic League in our city.

Anyway, on to the knives. The first one, which will be a raffle item is this 72 lockback. I put some nice stag on it. I was a bit disappointed with the vertical play in the lockup, but I guess that is somewhat common on these. It still came out pretty decent.

I also did this Buck 110, in stag also. This one is going as a silent auction item, as I feel it is worth more than a raffle item. Sadly, I'm not sure many people will see the value in the work that went into it.

If anyone is interested in bidding for this item, I can put in a proxy bid for you up to whatever max you would like, just contact me if you would like to.

Thanks for looking!

Good-looking work Glenn, as per usual!
I did a number of Buck 110s & Schrade LB-7s several years ago but it has been a long time since I did one. As I remember they were fun to work on but not the easiest to work on.

I'm afraid you may be right the people bidding on it probably won't appreciate the work that went into it.
