One for our USMC folks

Post by glennbad »

I had shared this idea with Jerry, as I needed some help with the insignias. My cousin's husband retired as Lt. Col. in the USMC. I wanted to make him something to recognize his service. I needed a decent canvas to work with, so I picked a 23 pattern. Here's a before and after.

He sent me this challenge coin in return. Wasn't expecting it, but a nice gesture!

The challenge coin is cool but the knife is out-bloody-standing We didn't say it back in my day but it's appropriate. Ooh Rah!

::tu:: Nice work a real great gift. But if you made one for an old Navy man it would have to be a canoe pattern. ftd
