Western W49 Bowie
Here is a vintage Western W49 bowie that was in pretty rough shape to start with. I reprofiled the blade and did a hand rubbed finish on it, the guard was broken so I made a hand forged iron replacement, handles were replaced with figured Osage Orange with 14 nickel silver pins. I also made a new sheath of natural oil finished 9-10 oz veg tan that is all all hand stitched.

So, the question arises as to what you are going to do with it...

Thanks for the comments everyone.schmoozer wrote:So, the question arises as to what you are going to do with it...
This one stays, at least for the forseeable future, I never got too excited about these in their stock configuration so I have sold the 4 or 6 I have owned, however this one appeals to me a lot more.
