Another Schrade 2OT Clone (ish)

Post by Brumbydownunder »

Yet another of my projects inspired by money - the lack of it ::dang::

Because they seldom come up for sale and are away out of my budget anyways ... I decided to try my hand at a 2OT from a no name TL29 donor knife.
The donor knife limited what I could do with the fancy front bolster but its close enough for me.

It's not perfect ... but if it was; I'd call myself "Tony Bose" and make a lot of money ::ds::

A big shout out to Glennbad and Dale (Orvet Customs) for the inspiration You guys don't know it but it is your fine refurbishing work that got me started on this journey.
Also Schradenut (Tony) who kindly sent me detailed pics of the 2OT inspired knife that Dale did for him.

Thanks for looking Derek

Nice work Derek! ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::

That is quite a compliment you paid to Glenn and I, especially considering the quality of the work you just did on this knife!
I'm flattered and humbled and happy to be a tiny part of what inspires you.
Nice job my friend! ::handshake::

That's a fine, fine job there Derek. I actually I like it better with the spear blade.

Great mod job Derek - I think it looks great. OH

Thanks Guys for your encouraging words ... nice to get the feed back. :)
I wasn't completely satisfied with the blade pivot pin so have re- done it. Having internet troubles right now will post pics when it's fixed.

Cheers & Thanks again!

I a am amazed by anyone who can take a knife apart and put it back together. To produce a good looking knife like that is outstanding! ::tu::
