Veterine
Veterine
This caught my eye this morning. From what I can find Veterine is from the Latin and means beast of burden. I suppose this is a fubar and the word veteran was supposed to be inscribed. Any other thoughts?

Very cool lighter Bob. I think the fubar theory is a good one.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Either the engraver or the individual who commissioned the engraving, was spelling challenged.

My daughter is an adult probation officer. One of her offenders had F&#K tattooed on his knuckles, it was mispelled. ftd

Well, according to one of the online translation services, "veterine" in Bosnian means veterinary services. I'm sure that's what was intended.
