One Catt In The Pile

Picked up a 'lot' of knives at an online estate sale. Only had one Catt (22762) in the bunch. I don't know anything about Catts, so in my ignorance, I don't believe this is anything special. Just another Catt to share with those 'in the know'.

Cattaraugus knives are always special.
A great early history and fine knives.

You've got a good packer there. ::tu::

Nice! Catts can be expensive, even in pretty rough shape. That one is definitely in better shape than my own, a Jack.

From the turn of the 20th century until WWII there was no factory-made knife better than a Cattaraugus. When I started collecting they were highly sought after by collectors. They still are. Like Joe says, Cattaraugus knives are always special, and the company history is too.

Nice find! ::tu::
